This can vary from location to location. It is always indicated for the specific location.
All information about our locations and opening hours can be found in the overview of our collection centers.
Our nurses cannot (and are not allowed to) perform a blood collection without a request form from a doctor. So be sure not to forget this. In addition, it is best to have an identity card on hand, or in the case of a child, a Kids-ID. If you have made an appointment via MyBooking, you can read further instructions in the confirmation email.
You can book an appointment for a (blood) sample collection yourself via our website. Choose a collection center near you, click 'Book Appointment' behind the center, and select a time slot. Important: make sure you have a request form from a doctor.
That depends on the type of sample collection you are coming for. Follow the instructions provided by your doctor and also read the instructions included in your confirmation email. Haven't received them or unsure? Then contact your doctor or the medical laboratory.
• Through your doctor: Your doctor will order a blood test to determine your blood group. You will receive your blood group card from us by mail. For an accurate blood group determination, it is legally required to be tested twice with a short interval between tests.
• Through reissue: Have you lost your blood group card and was the blood group test performed in our laboratory? Let us know, and we will send it to you again.
Check your spam folder (and add the laboratory to your contacts if necessary). If you still can't find the email, contact the medical laboratory. We'll be happy to check it for you.
Doctors who collaborate with the laboratory can, with a single click, send you an email containing a link to book an appointment. This automatically links the doctor's request form to your appointment. Convenient!
Without a request form, our nurses are not allowed to perform any blood draws. It is therefore best to bring a paper request form to your appointment, unless your doctor collaborates with the laboratory and has sent the request form digitally via their doctor portal.
Of course. You can cancel up to 4 hours before your appointment. If you need to reschedule or cancel less than 4 hours before the appointment, it is best to contact the collection center directly by phone. You can find the contact details on this page.
